Big Makeover in the Big Country!

Date: 8 June 2012

OVER $100,000 SAVED CREATING THE VERY LATEST SEAMING LINE AND FULLY AUTOMATIC BATCHING FROM USED MACHINERY.

Texas based Glass Wholesalers Inc., have commissioned Ashton Industrial to build and install the very latest technology in automatic seaming and furnace batching for their Houston tempering facility……… incorporating all the stainless steel and aluminum conveyors and many other parts from their existing Ashton FastTrak™ seaming line.

The 8 year old FastTrak™ line had been running shifts for most of its life and has processed millions of pieces of glass for tempering. Now in this unique move to upgrade to the very latest state-of-the-art SEAMMAX-X PRO™ technology, Ashton has removed the old equipment and is refurbishing a large part of it to be re-integrated into the new line, which will additionally feature fully automatic batching of seamed lites prior to tempering.

The whole line, including refurbished sections, will carry a full warranty and saves Glass Wholesalers well in excess of  $100,000 on the cost of an all-new system.
