Pearson has been in the vehicle glass industry for 28 years, most recently serving as the senior vice president of client sales and support for Columbus, Ohio-based Safelite® Solutions. As a property and casualty claims management service provider, Safelite® Solutions partners with more than 160 insurance and fleet clients, including 18 of the top 30 U.S. property and casualty insurance companies.
Under Pearson’s leadership, Safelite® Solutions has worked with leading p+c insurance carriers to develop customer service strategies to increase policyholder satisfaction and retention. He also has helped lead the fight against fraud in auto glass claims, making Safelite® Solutions the first strategic partner of the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
In April he will help transition his current responsibilities to his U.S. team and will begin his global responsibilities in May. He will report to Jeff Boekstein, Belron group head of sales and marketing.
“Pete has a proven track record as a trusted advisor in building exceptional key account partnerships. There is no one more experienced or better equipped to take on this challenge than Pete. Under his leadership for the past four years, Safelite® has enjoyed unprecedented key account sales growth,” said Boekstein.
Pearson joined Safelite® in 1989 as a result of the company’s acquisition of AFG Glass where he served as a regional manager. During his time there, he has been successful in a variety of roles including vice president of operations, vice president of sales, vice president of sales training and development and vice president of client sales and support. Previously, Pearson worked at A-1 Quality Glass as general manager and Xerox for 12 years as a branch sales manager and director of training and development. Pearson graduated cum laude from the University of Utah and currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. He will relocate to London.
“Pete’s keen business sense, industry knowledge and strong relationship building skills have allowed him to provide valuable insight to his clients regarding industry trends, initiatives and best practices,” said Tom Feeney, president and CEO of Safelite®. “While we will miss the day-to-day interaction and leadership that he has provided to Safelite®, we are thrilled that Belron® has recognized his ability to lead a worldwide sales organization.”
