On Glass South America Exhibition in 2012LandGlass together with some of its regional agents in America attended the Glass South America Exhibition held in Sao Paulo, the industrial city in Brazil, during May 16~19, 2012.Covering an area of 17,800,000 km2, South America consists of 12 countries and regions with a population of more than 400,000,000.Brazil is the largest country in South America, with a vast territory and a population of approximately 200,000,000. In recent years, the economy in South America has been growing rapidly with an average growth being over 4% for years; and as the biggest economic entity in South America, Brazil is also a member of the “BRIC” countries.
LandGlass has sold dozens of tempering furnaces to South America which has become one of the most important international markets for LandGlass. Moreover, the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games will be held in 2014 and 2016 successively in Brazil, which may play a significant role in driving the economic growth in Brazil and provide more opportunities for LandGlass to expect a further proliferation into the Brazil market.
Several agents of LandGlass in South America also participated in the exhibition and worked together with LandGlass to receive many clients and some of the LandGlass users from South America.
