Transfer of Thermix® insulating glass spacers business.

Alu Pro and Ensinger are pleased to announce that they have entered into exclusive negotiations for the transfer of Thermix® insulating glass spacers business to Alu Pro. Closing of the transaction is expected to complete as soon as possible, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Alessandro Fenzi, CEO of Fenzi Group, has declared: “We are very excited of enlarging our product range with a further high performance spacer. We have been impressed with Ensinger technological expertise and the Thermix know how will be a great addition to our company”.

Roland Reber, Managing Director of Ensinger, commented: “We are happy to have found a partner who is very committed to the future and the growth of Thermix. The sale of this division will enable us to concentrate more on Ensinger’s core business areas."

Ensinger has been manufacturing Thermix spacers at its production site in Cham (Bavaria) since 1994. Warm edge insulating glass spacers break the thermal bridge effect at windows and reduce the energy required for air conditioning in rooms.
