The new site offers streamlined design and navigation, creating consistent branding for AGC worldwide.
Designed to better meet the priorities and needs of architects and glass fabricators at the forefront, the new layout includes improvements to project presentation, added CSI 3-Part Specifications and new Building Information & Modeling (BIM) objects.
The new website allows AGC to align with a global online presence, communicating with customersmore effectively and making information easier to access for businesses that work with AGC across multiple regions.
To offer content rich and user-friendly AutoDesk® Revit® Building Information & Modeling (BIM) objects, AGC partnered with ARCAT, a major publisher of building product information.
As a further upgrade to the functionality of the new site, users can access BIM objects at no charge anytime during the course of a project.
In addition to creating comprehensive graphics, AGC and ARCAT have added product specific data to each object, saving architects and engineers a significant amount of time.
All of AGC’s new features, objects, graphics and content are uniform and modifiable for ease of use. In addition to product information, links to AGC’s CSI 3-Part Specs are embedded in the objects.
Other key enhancements to the website include:
User-Friendly Features – Navigation of the website has been segmented to provide visitors easy access to the information they need on commercial, residential and industrial products.
Convenient Products and Projects – An upgrade to the search function makes finding products by brand, type, function and country easier than before.
News and projects are even more useful with a greater number of large images and additional detailed information on the project.
Effective Tools and Resources – In addition to the BIM objects and CSI 3-Part Specs, AGC’s newest AIA CES program is available on the new CE|Strong mobile application, just a click away within the site.
