ABRA Auto Body & Glass Promotes Nguyen to Vice President

Date: 4 April 2007

ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a national damaged vehicle repair company, announced the promotion of Toan Nguyen to the position of Vice President of Information Technology.

Nguyen will be responsible for IT strategies, managing ABRA’s IT support staff, and supervising the purchasing, installation, and maintenance of all hardware, software and networks.

Nguyen joined ABRA in 2003 as a network consultant, and was promoted to IT Manager in 2004 and IT Director in 2006. Nguyen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech. He has received certifications from the PMI, Microsoft, Cisco, Unisys Labs and NARTE.

“ABRA is the standard which other companies in the collision industry measure themselves against when it comes to customer service and quality repairs,” stated Nguyen. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to guide our technology strategy and insure excellent technical support for our stores. Having a stable source of information technology and support is one of my top priorities. Our stores do not have time to concern themselves with technology choices and upgrades on top of everything else they need to do. They want simplification and answers, and our IT Department strives to provide both.”

Duane Rouse, ABRA’s Chief Financial Officer, stated: “Toan is the type of team member that every company loves to have on board. During his tenure with ABRA, he has taken us to a new level of technological sophistication, while providing tools that meet our users’ needs. ”

Nguyen and his wife, Sharon, have one son and two daughters.
