GlassBuild America will once again host the in-demand Women in Glass and Fenestration keynote and networking breakfast on Oct. 2 in the GlassBuild America Main Stage.

The 2024 Women in Glass + Fenestration session builds off of stellar events in 2022 and 2023, which drew standing-room-only crowds. The 2024 event includes a keynote presentation, breakfast, networking opportunities and more.

When and Where

  • Wednesday, Oct. 2
  • 9:30-11:00
  • Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas

Keynote speaker to address mentorship, coaching and navigating invisible barriers

Headlining 2024 Women in Glass + Fenestration is Nicole C. Calhoun, a prominent speaker and workplace leadership trainer who brings 25 years of corporate and technology experience to her training workshops. She has held roles in software engineering, business systems analysis, project management, and learning and development, within industries such as finance, manufacturing, payroll services and automotive. Calhoun's work experience includes companies like: JP Morgan Chase & Co., General Motors, Delphi, Detroit Diesel, National Steel Corporation and Electronic Data Systems (now DXC).

Calhoun will tell her story of working and advancing in male-dominated professions, and she will speak to the importance of finding a mentor and then—perhaps even more importantly—being a mentor. How can experienced glass and fenestration professionals of any gender help to support future women leaders in the industry?
