Woking Borough Council have awarded Hazlemere Commercial the contract to manufacture and install the commercial aluminium double glazed windows and doors for phase two of their Woking Pool in the Park development project.

The project involves the fabrication of a substantial number of bespoke fixed Sapa DF75 SI aluminium casement windows, each powder coated in RAL 7024 matt grey.

Building upon proven polyamide thermal break technology, The DF 75 Si aluminium casement window’s thermal performance is outstanding, being the first aluminium window in the UK to achieve a UK “A++” BFRC rating

In addition the contract involves Hazlemere Commercial manufacturing and installing eleven different bespoke Sapa Stormframe STII thermally broken commercial aluminium entrance doors in matching colour. The Stormframe STII high traffic aluminium door, provides the ideal solution for a wide range of commercial applications.

Offering high levels of thermal insulation, Stormframe STII can achieve a U value of 1.8 W/m²k for doors without mid-rails and 1.9 W/m²k for doors with mid-rails (depending on size and glazing specification).

This low U value can help building designers to achieve their Target Emissions Rate (TER) by being offset against the allowable U value of 3.5 W/m²k for high traffic doors when calculating the Building Emissions Rate (BER).

The Woking Pool in the Park project location is off Kingfield Road in Woking, Surrey and is scheduled for completion by the end of Spring 2018.
