Unique Window Systems have secured a contract to design, supply and install windows and doors for Dagfa House; a student accommodation development that will house up to 227 students in Nottinghamshire.

Dagfa House itself, a Grade II listed former school, will be refurbished as part of the plans, with the rest of the school site being demolished to make way for purpose-built student accommodation that will include new townhouses and a cluster of four to five storey buildings.

Unique have specified Synseal’s WarmCore window system and Senior’s SPW500 aluminium thermally broken swing door system for the project, with both products used by Unique Window Systems on several previous projects in the student accommodation sector.

Unique Window Systems began fabricating the WarmCore system in 2016 and has found tremendous success with its customers in both the trade and commercial markets, due to its excellent thermal performance and sleek aesthetics.

Unique Window Systems’ success with WarmCore has been illustrated with a new-build development featuring WarmCore windows and doors installed by Unique Window Systems in Hertfordshire, with the project being awarded a Home Quality Mark by the BRE – read more about the Bricket Wood development here.

Furthermore WarmCore has been specified for one of Unique Window Systems’ multi-million-pound build-to-rent schemes located in the heart of Birmingham.
