TREMCO JS780 S - Soft Butyl Primary Sealant for Flexible Spacers

While a traditional primary seal risks deforming the flexible spacer during the manufacturing process, TREMCO JS780 S, has been specifically developed with a softer characteristic to improve the adhesion between the flexible spacer and the glass with an enhanced wet-out. This can be achieved via a reduced compression during the assembly of the Insulating Glass units, used in conjunction with a secondary sealant (ideally TREMCO JS442 Polyurethane or ‘green’ innovation TREMCO JS900 Fast Curing, 2-part Hybrid IG Sealant). The quality of the unit and its thermal insulation are optimized, and this Warm Edge IG system is strengthened both in its performance and long term durability.
