In future, Thermix-TX.N will be available in 8, 10, 12 and 14mm widths, as well as the 16, 18 and 20mm widths currently available.
This more bendable spacer is just as superior, but the position of the perforation holes has been modified. This means that all previous test certificates will retain their validity and it’s still compatible with all current fixtures and fittings.
TX.N is manufactured by Ensinger and exclusively distributed in the UK by Thermoseal Group. It is the result of ten years experience in the development, production and application of warm-edge spacers, and over forty years experience in engineering and manufacturing high-performance plastic.
Mark Hickox, Sales Director at Thermoseal Group, says: “The demand for triple glazing across Europe has increased, hence the need for smaller spacer widths. This is what is great about dealing with a truly professional organisation such as Ensinger. Although triple glazing is not yet in huge demand in the UK, we are dealing with an International company which is constantly evolving its products to cope with future demands.
“It’s another small change, but one that will ensure that Thermix-TX.N grows its business and maintains its position as the leading warm edge product.
“We’ve had nothing but positive feedback from our customers about working with TX.N so far. It’s been engineered, designed and manufactured with German precision. It is a structurally sound and technologically advanced spacer bar that makes a real contribution towards reducing the energy rating on a window. In fact, TX.N achieves a ‘C’ rating or higher in all quality window systems.”
