June 8, 2012 - Architects and designers will be able to make their own aesthetic statement on interior spaces using the glass on display at Guardian Industries Booth No. 7-6046, at NeoCon, June 11-13 at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Those visiting Guardian Industries, InGlass exhibit at NeoCon, will also have the chance to win its signature tangerine DecoCristal table.
Launched at NeoCon 2011, GuardianInGlass.com gives architects and design professionals the opportunity to experience and interact with glass in one place. Now they can choose from a variety of interior glass products that can increase comfort, improve safety, conserve energy, reduce maintenance and resist wear, as well as make a statement. InGlass provides the platform for designers to incorporate glass in almost any environment, in any interior application, from walls and partitions and showers, to elevators and escalators and more.
Guardian will be introducing their inaugural group of Guardian Select Fabricators specifically for InGlass. This exclusive designation is reserved by Guardian Industries for fabricator partners who complete a rigorous certification program proving their precise fabrication capability, commitment to quality and dedication to exceptional service of the interiors market. Guardian Select InGlass fabricators not only represent a commitment to quality, but can provide designers with creative solutions to any signature glass needs. Several of these capabilities will be on display at the exhibit.
Glass can provide hundreds of design options including adding color, texture and pattern to a space. To help designers not only better understand glass, but to experience it, Guardian developed the InGlass Visualizer, which will be unveiled during the 2012 NeoCon. Intuitive and stocked with numerous glass textures, colors and performance combinations, the Guardian InGlass Visualizer helps designers look at sample settings, each with a number of glass product combinations. Sample designs can be saved and shared with others or for future reference. Additional settings and glass options will be added, so there will always be fresh content for new inspirations in glass design.
NeoCon Booth 7-6046 will be awash with colors and textures as Guardian presents:
• Guardian DiamondGuard for strength and resiliency. This high-endurance glass is infused with the strength of carbon to improve scratch resistance and protect against everyday wear and tear.
• Guardian Berman Glass editions for artisanship and texture. Berman Glass editions is the result of a partnership between Guardian and Joel Berman Glass Studios to produce a signature series of glass textures hand-designed by the pioneering glass artist Joel Berman and pressure-formed in volume to be readily available at an affordable price.
• Guardian DecoCristal for color and customization. Painting one side of the glass produces a brightly opaque, aesthetically stunning glass. The tables that will be on display in the booth feature some of the colors available, and one of them will be going home with a lucky attendee: Guardian is holding a drawing at the end of the show for its signature tangerine DecoCristal table.
“Interior glass plays a prominent role in providing easy spatial transitions and divisions,” said Diane Turnwall, Guardian segment director for Interiors. “And, it helps establish transparency and privacy by adding to a room’s beauty and charm.”
These products are just a few from the comprehensive offering that is Guardian InGlass. The full collection of interior glass solutions will be on view in the Guardian booth.
