Schüco TopAlu combines the excellent thermal insulation and weathertightness of easy-to-maintain PVC-U window and door constructions with the high level of resistance and stylish appearance of aluminium.
As well as the Schüco LivIng construction exhibited at the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2016 exhibition, many of the company’s other PVC-U profile series can be combined on the exterior with the aluminium cover cap.
The combination of PVC-U systems and aluminium cover caps represents a cost-effective choice for any project requiring a high-quality aluminium look.
A distinct advantage is the uniform appearance of the façade: the outside appearance of units with external aluminium cover caps is no different from that of purely aluminium units.
Mixed projects can therefore also be constructed, with regard to their different intended uses, with solutions comprising an intelligent and cost-effective mixture of materials without losing the advantages of either.
The Schüco TopAlu aluminium cover cap is virtually resistant to environmental influences. It is available in all RAL and anodised colours as well as a range of surface finishes.
It can be fitted on turn/tilt and double-vent windows, as well as window doors, sliding doors, side entrance doors and entrance doors. The outer frame and vent/leaf frame can be designed in different colours.
Special clip-on technology enables the cover caps to be fixed quickly and easily to the PVC-U profiles. The cover caps can be fabricated with 45° mitres or alternatively with a butt joint.
Even the PVC-U inside of the window can be individually tailored to the interior design thanks to the wide range of colours and woodgrain finishes.
