Saint-Gobain technical fabrics is manufacturing grinding wheels in Mexico

With its 1999 goal of sales expansion outside Europe, Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics set up a fabric cutting unit in Mexico for grinding wheels, in November 2001.

This factory, that also produces insect screens, is located within the Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics factory in Xicohtencatl (Tlaxcala province) and represents an investment of approximately 500,000 US dollars. The unit, which has significant production capacity, will supply grinding wheel manufacturers in the NAFTA zone. Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics hopes to continue with increased sales figures as they have over the past three years.
