Safely handle and mount objects of up to 180 kg

Date: 9 January 2015

Bohle has further expanded the product portfolio of the Liftmaster series. After the Liftmaster B2, the company has launched the Liftmaster B1 handling and mounting aid.

Thanks to this new device, which is smaller and more compact than the predecessor model, glass panes, windows and other airtight objects of up to 180 kg can be handled and mounted by only one person.Compact and manoeuvrable for construction sites and company premises

Liftmaster B1 can be disassembled in a way that it fits into almost any estate car and can therefore be used on construction sites without any problem. In addition, the device is ideal for transporting glass panes and other sheet materials within company premises. Due to its compact construction and manoeuvrability, the device is well suited for use in narrow spaces. With a width of only 0.8 metres, the Liftmaster B1 conveniently fits through all standard doors - even when loaded: For this purpose, the transported goods are rotated by 90° with the tiltable rack and put down on a rubber coated support.

All-rounder due to versatile application possibilities

The rotatable and tiltable rack makes the Liftmaster B1 an absolute all-rounder: Unloading the panes from a glass rack or  transport vehicle or loading them onto glass processing machines is possible as well as inserting laminated safety glass panes into the profiles of all-glass railings and many other installation tasks. When attached to the Liftmaster B1, the suction lifter can be rotated and tilted – together with the tiltable rack, the transport goods can be rotated around two axles and can always be positioned as needed. Also larger objects do not pose a problem: The transported objects can be moved up to a centre height of approx. 2 metres.

Dual circuit vacuum lifter can also be used separately

As a standard, the Liftmaster B1 is equipped with a compact, manual suction lifter, guaranteeing highest safety due to a dual circuit vacuum system with four suction pads, a reserve tank, a low-pressure indicator and an additional vacuum display.  The suction lifter has been recently developed by Bohle and can easily be taken off the Liftmaster with a specific quick coupling adaptor and used separately. It can do without an electric pump and is therefore very versatile in its range of applications. The suction lifter, which is also available separately (BO B18DM4) without Liftmaster is equipped with eye hooks as a standard. A crane arm is optionally available which enables either rotating the device vertically by 360° or tilting it horizontally by 90°.
