Hall 11 / Stand H72The Global Glass work group within the worldwide operating pneumatics company ROSS CONTROLS® will be present at this year’s GLASSTEC exhibition in Duesseldorf/Germany.

Their stand will give evidence of the top quality products and services this reputed manufacturer has to offer, and - of course - there will be ample chance for an intensive dialogue with ROSS’ global glass specialists.

The ROSS presentation stand is intended to focus on an IS-glass machine, which will be equipped with a whole range of product solutions co-developed by ROSS and its core customers. Applications will include Blowing functions, Mould open/close, Blowhead, and Pusher to name but a few. Visitors may look forward to witnessing a simulated ‘live’ plunger application controlled by our latest proportional system. There will also be a variety of static models that can be inspected on site – and our international staff will be happy to provide detailed information and support.

Over the past years ROSS has introduced a number of new product solutions for the glass industry which stand out for their compact, multifunctional, and cost-saving design. A small wonder that these control units continue to be successful throughout the world.

Our state-of-the-art equipment on show will include a range of proportional valves for pressurizing and exhausting in various sizes and designs. This new valve concept is a symbiosis of traditional pneumatic valve technology and the electronics/sensor field, and it has already proven itself throughout the industry. It was specifically developed for plunger control, but has quickly been modified for both counterblow and final blow applications. The glass-container industry has proved to be an ideal market for product innovation and will continue to stimulate us to provide future process development.

Learn more about the products mentioned and be prepared for a ‘surprise here and there’ at the ROSS stand.
