Orders from Canada and Azerbaijan for Vitrododi solar glass washers are now being built at a Rimas factory in Holland for Rimas PV manufacturing lines.

Vitrododi Solar was acquired by Rimas in July 2011.

“Now production is in place - the factory is producing its first series of glass washers - we want to make steps in product development,” commented Vitrododi founder Luigi Dodi. “We believe that together we can make our equipment more customer friendly and easier to integrate. It is great that RIMAS’ integration and technical capabilities, allow us to evolve to a higher level.”

Rimas said that the glass washers had improved mechatronics and software to improve ease of equipment operation. “As a result we improve functional, energy and noise performance,” added Managing Director Sjano Gallardo.

Other units will be built and shipped to become part of a Ecoprogetti 150MW line, in China, Rimas said.
