aïr was born out of a desire to push the boundaries of what was possible in lift & slide and bi-folding door design, so we love it when our customers choose to push the boundaries themselves.

A householder in Pinner, Middlesex, has most certainly done that after commissioning a mammoth 10-metre-long aïr 600LS lift & slide door installation.

We have always said that the aïr 600LS was especially suited for large openings, and they don’t come much larger than this.

Featuring the new slimmer 48mm interlock, it will consist of four glazed panes with the maximum sash width of 2.5m, each weighing around 180kg.

Manoeuvring the 10-metre-long moveable glass wall across the stainless steel tracks is made incredibly easy thanks to our aïrglide technology which enables it to be done with an easy two finger push.

The slenderness of the frames allows for a high quantity of glass and an inevitable high volume of natural sunlight passing through it to leave the interior feeling bright and spacious.

That’s not all though.

An aïr 800 bi-folding door has also been fitted in the out-house games room, one of the world’s leanest bi-folding doors.

"We have always said that the aïr 600LS was especially suited for large openings, and they don’t come much larger than this. "

Gaming will never have felt as glamorous as it does when the aïr 800 is beautifully folded open during warm spells.

Both aïr designs have been supplied in a lasting Quartz Grey Matt finish.

We cannot wait to see the final reveal of the aïr 600LS. When people fall for the captivating charm of aïr they really fall for it!
