Fast-moving Bristol aluminium experts The Window Outlet have responded to recent staggering growth by opening a 11,000 square-foot factory.

Situated near the firm’s existing HQ in Bedminster, the new facility provides a dedicated space for the production of its industry-leading patio and bifolding doors, not only allowing it to stock much higher quantities of aluminium profile, but offer even shorter lead times.

Now, trade customers can get bifold and lift and slide patio doors from leading suppliers Reynaers and AluK with just five-day lead times unglazed and ten-days glazed.

“At The Window Outlet, we’ve always understood that continual investment is the key to business success,” comments Clive Uppington, Sales Director at The Window Outlet.

“It’s how we’ve been able to grow from small start-up to £3m business in just over two years. The new factory is a prime example – letting us increase our capacity, create a dedicated production space for our premium aluminium doors, and, most importantly, reduce the lead times for our customers.

We’re known throughout the industry for that customer-first ethos. Offering a 24-hour turnaround on aluminium quotes, an accessible bifold builder on our mobile-optimised website, and a number of other added value services show that we firmly believe our customers deserve the best.”

From the new factory, The Window Outlet will be manufacturing the CF68 bifold and the CP130 and CP155 lift and slide patio doors from Reynaers. Whether by creating wide openings that seamlessly join inside and outside spaces or maximising the intake of natural light, Reynaers products provide a stylish, robust and versatile solution.

A number of products from The Window Outlet’s AluK range will also be produced at the new factory, including the BSF70 high-end bifold door. The luxury product capitalises on the prevailing trend for a slim, contemporary designs, while also offering exceptional functionality, thermal performance and weather resistance. Its strong and durable construction means it’s also suitable for commercial projects.

The Window Outlet was founded in 2014 by Ben Warren and Clive Uppington, and is one of the leading fabricators of high-end aluminium windows and doors in the south-west. Surpassing £2M turnover in only their second year of trading, The Window Outlet is one of the fastest-growing fabricators in the country.
