The Kempinski Grand & Ixir Bahrain City Centre offers guests exceptional and unique experiences in a luxurious setting directly in the heart of Manama.Its 460 guestrooms feature marble bathrooms, walk-in closets, large plasma screen TVs, and last but not least, Privacy Smartglass.

A system of electronic blinds had originally been proposed but were replaced with Privacy Smartglass at the client’s (Majd Al Futtaim Properties) request. Our switchable glass allows for easy and instant privacy on demand. When the switchable glass is powered ON, it provides a transparent partition opening up your space to natural light. When it is switched OFF, it instantly obscures to opaque offering complete and instant privacy.

Whilst the Privacy Smartglass provided a practical solution for the hotel, it supported the hotel brand’s identity of luxury and excitement.
