Press Glass: “Run and support” in Tczew for children again

360 participants faced the challenge of running 10 km, including 33 runners of the initiative supported by PRESS GLASS. Among the representatives of the “Run and support” initiative Andrzej Potoczek was ranked the highest among men (26th position) and Justyna Barczyk-Strama was the best woman in the group (228th position).

The amount gained by running was shared equally between Zespół Placówek Specjalnych (Special Education Facilities) in Tczew and Amelka Wróblewska who is supported by the “Zdążyć z pomocą” Foundation.

Zespół Placówek Specjalnych (Special Education Facilities) in Tczew operates at the Stowarzyszenie na Rzecz Szkolnictwa Specjalnego (Association for Special Education) whose activities are aimed to develop special education. The Association supports and promotes innovative methods of teaching and pedagogical work with mentally disabled people.

Amelka Wróblewska, who suffers from cerebral palsy and delayed psychomotor development, is supported by the “Zdążyć z pomocą” Foundation. Amelka requires permanent medical control and regular rehabilitation. Any amount paid for her treatment matters.
