NSG Group's Automotive plant in Vizag, India, has successfully passed the quality audit of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Vizag is now licensed to use the ISI Monogram - the Indian Standards certification mark - as a guarantee of product quality, reliability and safety on all its laminated windscreen products. "This approval helps in launching the products made at the Vizag plant into the Indian market," said general manager Stephan Rosebrock. "As part of our overall business plan, we intend to penetrate both the AGR and OE segments of the market in the soonest possible time.Potential AGR customers have already been identified in major cities and with this approval we now plan to roll out the first consignment to the Indian AGR market in April 2010."
