More than 12,000 square metres of Pilkington Solar-E™ has been used for the façade of a new shopping mall in downtown Salvador, in Brazil.

Manufactured by the Group in the USA, the glass combines low emissivity with high light transmission, ensuring that the full length of the building is flooded with natural light.

"This is a high performance glass for thermal and light control, more transparent than the one normally used and ideal for building façades," said product development manager Angelo Arruda.
