And this year's show in New Orleans promises to be especially informative as attendees will be able to learn about the world's first self-cleaning glass.
Pilkington North America will present two seminars during interGlassmetalGm/FENESTRATIONworld™ '01 on its new Pilkington Activ™ Self-Cleaning Glass. The seminars will be presented by David K. Morris, business segment leader for commercial products, and Paul M. Gore, business segment leader for residential products. Morris' seminar is session 106 (Nov. 7, 9-10:30 a.m.) and Gore's seminar is session 506 (Nov. 9, 9-10:30 a.m.).
"Since Pilkington introduced its Pilkington Activ™ Self-Cleaning Glass in late June, it has received wide national and international attention from the general public as well as, of course, from the glass and fenestration industry," Gore said. "In New Orleans, show attendees can learn and see first hand how Pilkington Activ™ Glass works."
In the seminars, Morris and Gore will offer insight in to why and how Pilkington Activ™ Glass was developed; how it achieves its self-cleaning properties, and discuss other performance properties; handling and fabricating Pilkington Activ™ Glass; and its residential and commercial applications.
