Pilkington energiKare™, the energy-efficient glazing from Pilkington has been a huge hit with homeowners this year with the number of supplier searches on its website so far in 2009 exceeding those for the whole of 2008. Following the launch of the extended Pilkington energiKare™ family in March the number of supplier searches that month was up by an amazing 324 per cent compared to March 2008.But that’s not all, the glazing trade has also been downloading Pilkington energiKare™ brochures and product information with gusto, with 2482 downloads in the last four months of the year.
The success of the Pilkington energiKare™ family not only enticed more companies to partner with Pilkington and benefit from the increased exposure that this brings, but also encouraged Pilkington to provide Pilkington energiKare™ Classic as standard in all IGUs which incorporate Pilkington K Glass™ and Pilkington Optifloat™.
Since its launch, Pilkington energiKare™ has gone from strength to strength with more than 490 companies signing up to its ‘partner’ programme and benefitting from Pilkington marketing activity, supplier finder and the detailed literature that Pilkington provides to help its partners understand the Pilkington offering.
