PGT Glass Operations Leader Joins FloridaMakes Board

FloridaMakes is part of the nationwide National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP) system that was created to address the needs of local manufacturers, with the mission of supporting the growth and competitive ability of U.S. manufacturing.

Mr. Beecher joined PGT Custom Windows + Doors in 2008 and has held various leadership positions across the company, including quality systems management, operations management, production planning and control and program management.

He also serves as the president of the Sarasota-Manatee Area Manufacturers Association, which advocates on behalf of manufacturers at the local, state and national level.

Mr. Beecher is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
