The Quality Bond scheme is an international award run by Dow Corning in order to ensure that partner companies maintain the very highest levels of Quality Control through a rigorous programme of annual training an auditing.Quality Bond members are proficient in quality management and silicone application techniques that meet Dow Corning's strict rules of compliance
Agi’s team has maintained consistently “Excellent” results in the annual audit process, including being awarded the highest marks of any applicator (including both Structural Silicone Bonding and the manufacture DG Units) in Europe.
AEL offer the Structural Silicone Bonding process to all UK and International customers, who generally supply their own glass & DG Units to AEL. Sometimes AEL’s customers fabricate their own aluminium carrier frames and structural grid and sometimes AEL’s extensive Aluminium Fabrication Department carry out that work on the customers’ behalf under a Fabrication-Only contract.
Customer’s projects undertaken by AEL range from one or two concealed vents through to the largest and most prestigious Unitised curtainwall projects.
Regardless of size or type, all projects undertaken by Agi’s SSG department are subject to full materials approval by Dow Corning’s laboratories at Seneffe in Belgium and are assured priority treatment under the Quality Bond system.
