New Product Announcement – SealFast U-Channel Gasket | Extrudaseal

SealFast has been developed to provide a seal on steel windows and doors or other applications without gasket grooves, and features a robust adhesive strip that means it can be directly applied to a glazing bead.

The U-channel gasket enhances performance by providing increased resistance to wind load, air permeability and drafts by stopping them from passing underneath the glazed IGU.

‘Wind load’ is a term used to refer to all the pressures or forces that the wind applies on a building or structure.  Resistance to wind load is assessed under BS EN 12210. Performance for maximum test pressure is grouped into five classes, with class one the lowest performance and class five being the best.
