New and a prize-winner: SGG MASTER-SOFT

Date: 11 August 2015

A unique new texture that lends a new dimension to cast glass, is responsible for the equally surprising and alluring look of the new design glass SGG MASTER-SOFT from Saint-Gobain Glass.

The new design glass has been recognized with the prize "best of the best" of the reddot awards.

SGG MASTER-SOFT has a novel, velvety-matt surface with a 3D-looking structure. This is created by intersecting diagonals which form precise right angles. The structured glass blurs the background, thus ensuring an optical spatial separation, with maximum brightness. This effect increases even more, the further the viewer moves away.

With its refined appearance which appeals to all the senses, SGG MASTER-SOFT extends the repertoire of architects and planners with a glass which combines voluminous materiality connects with elegant lightness. The technically produced very precisely-shaped pattern sets accents and simultaneously blurs contours.

SGG MASTER-SOFT has already been recognized in this year's reddot award "best of the best" in the "Product Design" category.
