New acquisition for Fenzi Group in Poland

Date: 18 March 2015

On March 1st of this year, Kadmar -- a chemical company in Jaworzno, southern Poland, specialized in the production of polysulphide, polyurethane, hot-melt and butyl sealants for insulating glass -- officially joined the Fenzi Group.

With its complete range of sealants, Kadmar is a driving force in Eastern Europe. This is a strategic move for both firms, as confirmed by Alessandro Fenzi – CEO of the Group: «The Kadmar manufacturing plant is very efficient, well-organized and productive, and its costings are competitive. From a chemical standpoint, the company’s products are appealing. I see great potential for development within our Group and the Glass Alliance network».

For Andrzej Konieczny, President of Kadmar, joining forces with the global leader in IG sealant production essentially ensures the company will benefit from long term production and sales development.

For the Glass Alliance network -- comprised of Fenzi, Alu-Pro and Rolltech, and engaged in worldwide sales of a vast range of high performance products for insulating glass – this move adds an interesting new production and sales unit.

With a total of 10 manufacturing units globally, two of which (Alupro Polska and Kadmar) are in Poland, the Glass Alliance further strengthens its product range with an even more complete array of insulating glass sealants.
