Mr Surasak Decharin has been selected to be the 45th recipient of the Phoenix Award “Glass Person of the Year 2015”

Since Joining Bangkok Glass in September 1981 Surasak Decharin spent more than 33 years of his professional career with Bangkok Glass.

After being appointed by the Board of Directors to the role of Director and President back in August 2000 he has been responsible for the Company’s rapid but solid growth and expansion, from a single 150-ton furnace operation to the current 13 furnaces with 40 production lines.Under his leadership Bangkok Glass have not only become the Number 1 Glass manufacturer in his own country but also grown to be one of the largest players in the region.



Mr Surasak Decharin is highly respected among his own staff, mangers, suppliers, partners and competitors, a respected Entrepreneur and Glass Maker who promotes the true Spirit of Glass.



The Phoenix Award Committee congratulates and acknowledges Mr Surasak Decharin’s achievement of earning the title “Phoenix Award Glass Person of the Year, 2015”.
