MIR STEKLA’2014

MIR STEKLA annually brings together major players of glass industry, world’s leading brands on the best fairground situated in the center of Moscow city, Russia.

Every year the exhibition attracts attention of glass manufacturers, accessory and equipment producers and vendors, designers and all sorts of professionals both exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition covers over 6 thousand square meters of exhibition space, housing over 300 exhibitors from 25 countries, of which 200 are foreign companies, visitors’ statistics counts over 9 000 visitors, of which 95% are specialists and professionals.

Among the long-term exhibition partners are German Engineering Federation VDMA, Association of Italian manufacturers GIMAV, Association of Glass Industry in Hungary MUSz, China Council for International Trade, Department of Construction and Industry CISC-CCPIT.

Exhibition includes various thematic salons. Namely in 2006, the first salon was opened for international art and interior decorative glass «ArtGlass». It was a breakthrough and a highlight of the exhibition. Stained, decorative glass, decorative items, souvenirs, glassware, jewelry articles are the center of the event and draw attention of all visitors annually.

«Center of Science and Education», a specialized stage to present leading Russian Research Institutes, Universities and Colleges, followed «ArtGlass» in 2008. The full extend of science, technology and educational programs’ potential to train glass industry professionals was presented within the “CSE”. "Center of Science and Education" contribute to the cooperation of science and business.

Each year "Mir Stekla" grows, widens, and gains highest reputation by professionals and gratifies visitors with novelties, and technologies, presenting all news of the industry.

In best traditions of the exhibition, the exposition of 2014 will be enriched by the latest trends, conceptually new approach to active and passive housing within the new salon "Windows and Facades".
