At the moment, the safety of employees and customers is LiSEC's highest priority. In view of the far-reaching impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to cancel this year's participation in glasstec 2020, which will take place from 20th to 23th October 2020 in Düsseldorf, Germany, and to generally refrain from events and trade fairs in 2020.
In the line with the possibilities of digitalisation, LiSEC has decided to host a virtual trade fair where the all-in-one solutions offered by LiSEC are presented online to all customers and interested parties. This will take place from 27th to 30th October 2020.
"Although, this was a tough decision, we are convinced that in these times a virtual trade fair only offers advantages for all sides and makes a significant contribution to protecting the health and safety - not only of our employees, but also of our customers. We are also trying to make a contribution to halting the progress of the pandemic," says Gottfried Brunbauer, CEO of the LiSEC Group.
LiSEC sees the current COVID-19 crisis as an opportunity to break new ground and offer an innovative platform for interested parties and customers with the virtual trade fair. "Nowadays, digitalisation offers us extensive possibilities to create new forms of encounter. In this virtual experience, interested parties and customers can expect a wide range of infotainment, insights into production, technical discussions and various interaction possibilities, including direct sales contact," says Oliver Pichler, CFO of the LiSEC Group. "We are already looking forward to presenting the LiSEC Group with all its operating companies online and to offering all-in-one solutions in flat glass processing in this innovative way".
