Joe will be based in Glaston’s office in Mount Laurel, New Jersey to oversee the sales and service operations of Glaston products in the Americas.

Joe has over 20 years of sales experience occupying various leadership roles with top tier manufacturing companies focused on the fenestration industry.  Most recently, he led the North American sales team at Guardian Industries where he was responsible for their flat glass products in all key market segments, including their value-added Low-E portfolio for commercial and residential customers.  He has a broad range of experience and application knowledge in the glass industry, in addition to a diverse background in structural sealants and adhesives.  “With his extensive experience and excellent industry knowhow, Joe will be a tremendous addition not only to our team in the Americas region, but also to the entire Glaston business,” says Sasu Koivumäki, CSO and Deputy CEO at Glaston.

“North America is an extremely important market for Glaston. The market demand for high-quality glass is strong in the region. We expect to see an increased demand for high-quality heat treated glass and insulating glass units as well as automotive glass, where we’ve also seen an increased activity,” Sasu Koivumäki continues.

“Automation is becoming increasingly more prevalent in the everyday life at a glass factory which will enable all of us to further develop the glass processing industry. I’m looking forward to working together with all our customers to improve their businesses and to meet their growing demands for quality and productivity. Glaston’s versatile product portfolio supports our customers’ needs for new machines and upgrades, which are backed by the best service team in the business,” says Joe Butler.
