Jeld-Wen Holding Inc. has purchased Breezway, a manufacturer of residential and commercial louvre window systems based in Brisbane, Australia.

With this acquisition, JELD-WEN continues to broaden its product offering and provides an even greater set of solutions to customers. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Benefiting from the louvre window’s unique design for passive ventilation and high-end style, Breezway is a market leader and has been rated the most trusted window and glazing brand in Australia.

The company’s patented technology meets the needs of premium homeowners with innovative features such as automation and climate management systems.

“Like JELD-WEN, Breezway has a long history of innovation,” said Peter Farmakis, executive vice president and president of JELD-WEN Australia. “It’s a perfect fit for our focus on elevating the design and style that windows bring to beautiful spaces.”

Breezway is the third acquisition in Australia by JELD-WEN over the past 12 months. Previous recent Australian acquisitions include TREND Windows & Doors and Aneeta Window Systems.

This is also in addition to JELD-WEN’s existing family of brands in Australia, which includes Stegbar, Corinthian, Regency, Airlite, William Russell Doors, and JELD-WEN Glass.
