Adler Windows joined the International House restoration team in 2016 as the buildings window and door installer.
The project involved a brick-to-brick installation of 3 sets of doors and 10 new door panels. In the Soros Room, 5 new awning windows were installed within the existing window frames.
As requested by ownership, the windows and doors were customs made with specific casings and profiles, matching the original units from 1926. To improve the facilities energy bills and protect the antique furniture and paintings throughout the building, all new windows and doors were made with insulated high energy glazing.
The installation process took two weeks to complete, a time scale which exceeded our client’s expectations.
