Hall 15 / Stand A50The UK’s leading supplier of gas filling and gas fill testing equipment for insulating glass units is exhibiting new machines at Europe’s premier glass and glazing exhibition.

Central to the display will be the new Inagas IGA Series of gas fillers, launched at Glassex last March. Malcolm Kemp, Inagas director, says: “We have had a very strong response to our new models in the UK and we are now able to make them available internationally. The range is designed to meet the needs of the vast majority of ig unit manufacturers, providing one or two line capability and higher filling speeds than other machines of comparable size. Glasstec is the place we have to be to demonstrate how gas filling technology has developed and improved.”

The IGA machines can be set up for one or two hole filling, usually vertically, but horizontal filling is an option. They feature touch pad controls and visual displays, with easy adjustment of percentage levels and swift fault finding analysis. Complementing the gas fillers is a new range of gas fill testing equipment.

Inagas looks east for distributors

Building on the successful UK introduction of the IGA Series of gas filling machines for insulating glass (IG) units, Inagas Ltd is now intending to appoint specialist distributors in key east European markets. Principal targets include Russia, new members of the EC from Eastern Europe and other developing markets including the Far East. The company is hoping to attract interest from potential distributors at Glasstec in Düsseldorf in November.

Managing director, Malcolm Kemp, explains: “Russia and eastern Europe are young markets for sophisticated insulating glass units. The combination of climate, new build programmes and a huge stock of existing housing in need of renovation and refurbishment means that IG unit manufacture is going to increase exponentially over the next decade. The new European standards apply in many eastern European countries and to reach the required levels of thermal insulation, gas filling is a vital factor.”

The Inagas IGA Series machines are ideal for distributor sales. They have been designed by Inagas for high performance and low maintenance and to meet the needs of the vast majority of IG unit manufacturers. They combine modern, easy to use controls and calibration with quality engineering to ensure efficient operation and a long service life. They are complemented by a range of gas fill testing equipment, also designed and manufactured by Inagas.

Distributors will receive full training on the operation and maintenance of all equipment and sales and technical support from Inagas will always be available. Interested distributors can contact Inagas direct on +44 (0)1442 832764 or by email info@inagas.com

As important as the machines is the level and quality of service enjoyed by Inagas customers. Advice and guidance is available on every aspect of gas filling and IG unit manufacture. Many customers have benefited from recommendations on production procedures, to maximise the efficiency of their operations. Appropriate Inagas equipment is only recommended following a detailed analysis of the customer’s manufacturing procedures and output requirements. Following installation, experienced technical personnel are always available to help and advise on operation and maintenance. Inagas management has long experience of serving international markets, both directly and through the agency of expert distributors.

Unlike other suppliers of gas fillers, Inagas has developed its own range of machines, combining the benefits of the company’s long experience and the latest operational technology.
