Glass Expo Istanbul 2012

Date: 4 April 2012

From 1st to 4th March 2012, 589 exhibitors from 25 countries presented their products to numerous international experts, with their stands covering 80,000 m² spread over 10 pavilions.

In spite of the current difficult economic situation, the Tüyap Exhibition Center saw virtually no decrease in the number of visitors to the 3-in-1 event for the glass and window sector – the ‘Glass Expo Istanbul’, the ‘Istanbul Window’ and the ‘Door Expo’. Particularly the international share of visitors to the exhibition has risen, with people originating from neighbouring countries but also from countries such as the Ukraine or areas of former Yugoslavia.

At the show Lisec, which is synonymous with fully automatic high-tech production plants as well as large-scale projects in the glass sector, focused mainly on their new product line of compact systems – FiT.Line and FiT.Cut, the first of the two being an efficient start-up insulating glass production line offered at a very attractive entry level price, and the latter being an all-in-one glass cutting solution.

The new concept allows Lisec to stand up to the great number of local suppliers of simple glass machinery in the low-price segment, enabling their customers to benefit from the advantage in technology, the outstanding manufacturing quality and the exemplary customer service of the Lisec Group of Companies. The numerous visitors to the live demonstrations showed great interest in the new series of machine models, making the exhibition a very successful one for Lisec.
