The number of visitors at the exhibition and especially at the Glass Alliance stand, an international network whose members include Fenzi, Alu Pro and Rolltech and that produces and markets worldwide all the industrial equipment for IG production, was excellent and exceeded forecasts, higher than at the previous exhibition in 2007.The many meetings at the stand and the “quality” of the visitors who were interested in the group’s new products show that the solidity and stability of Glass Alliance continue to be highly valued on the market. The strong interest was definitely also due to the ongoing innovation in the group’s production, with products that have a leading-edge quality and reliability.
Among the group’s new entries, the most innovative products in the area of warm edge technology had the most pulling power, as a result of performance features that reduce the environmental impact and energy costs of homes and offices. Especially noteworthy was Chromatech Ultra, introduced by Rolltech as a state-of-the-art profile for IG. By combining a stainless steel bottom section and a polycarbonate upper section with low moisture penetration index, Chromatech Ultra guarantees countless, significant benefits in terms of thermal insulation.
The Fenzi group grabbed visitors’ attention with its new complete range of Duralux Solar Coatings for solar mirrors, a highly cutting-edge product that combines energy efficiency and resistance. Developed to tap into the new technologies of solar thermal systems, Fenzi’s new product is so innovative that the specific tests required new reference parameters, which were drawn up by Fenzi together with other leading players in the sector. This new line of coatings for solar mirrors reflects the company’s excellent level of technological and environmentally-friendly expertise.
The Fenzi group, a leader in the secondary processing of flat glass, also previewed an innovative roller coating machine for the application of enamel paints whose reliability was eye-witnessed by visitors with real-time, practical demonstrations at the stand. This new production sector is a crucial development for the company to further guarantee the perfect application and use of Tempver paints (ceramic paints) and Aquaglass (organic low-temperature paints).
Vitrum’s success shows how the glass industry is not standing still because of the dramatic consequences of the worldwide recession, but is taking full advantage of this moment to move further ahead with technology. As a result of the significant investments in research made by the Glass Alliance network, the group has achieved positive results and captured the attention of trade people.
