"Located in the centre of Moscow Expocentre has always provided top level exhibition services. To participate in the trade shows at Expocentre Fairgrounds is important and prestigious," said Deputy of the Russian State Duma Pavel Dorokhin at the Week opening ceremony. In his opinion, the fact that the Russian Construction Week is held in Expocentre's pavilions is of great importance for the Russian building industry which, in its turn, is a barometer of development of the whole economy.

Today, the construction industry gives more than 6% of Russia's GDP. More than 200,000 companies are engaged in this industry; 90% of them are SMEs, said Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Maksim Fateyev. Today, participation of the companies from many regions of Russia and more than 20 countries on Expocentre fairgrounds testifies to the importance of both the construction industry and the event.
