Molver Molecular Sieves by the Fenzi Group obtain CEKAL certification.

CEKAL certified quality for the Fenzi range of molecular sieves for high performance insulating glass units. This latest confirmation of the high performance of the Group’s products and their compliance with the industry’s strictest standards guarantees a sure competitive advantage for clients around the world.

Paris-based CEKAL completed the certification process for Molver molecular sieves, a high-quality line of zeolite 3A products, engineered to ensure excellent results. Perfect for establishing a “water-vapor-free zone” for the gas or air trapped between the two sheets of glass in an IG unit, the Molver product lineup successfully combines high absorption capacity and superior physical properties.

Thanks to these attributes, the Molver molecular sieves are extremely efficient at eliminating water vapor between the spacer filling and sealing stages, effectively capturing any residual humidity inside the IG unit. This endows the spacer with optimum stability and maintains the performance features of the entire unit constant over time, improving its durability, despite the thermal and mechanical stresses to which it is exposed.

The ongoing quest for innovative solutions and optimization of the manufacturing process have led to constant improvements in Molver’s performance, to the benefit of the entire IG unit, which can rely on molecular sieves with an extremely low initial humidity content, resulting in greater available absorption capacity. Performance durability over time, combined with greater responsiveness and less product density, translate not only to excellent quality but also to energy savings per linear meter.

This new certification once again validates the Group’s know-how and its indisputable experience in the field of insulating glass components. “We want to be certain that the quality of Fenzi products is not only superior but also very stable,” emphasized Matteo Padovan, Managing Director of Fenzi SpA.

“This means that quality control is at its max on all the manufacturing systems and processes, even through independent entities, as required by CEKAL marking. Receiving this certification on another of our IG products rewards the company’s efforts in high-performance research and technologies and is proof that Fenzi sets the standard for complete solutions for the international glass industry. For 80 years we have believed that the quality of our products and the commitment to achieve it in every aspect of the company’s business are our authentic competitive currency. This is also the cornerstone upon which we have built our global leadership.”
