Double glazing firm acquires city-based glass manufacturer

Leading double glazing installer Sheffield Window Centre is heading for further expansion after acquiring glass manufacturer Central Glass.

Broad Lane-based Sheffield Window Centre’s Ian and Joe Hunter have taken over as directors of Central Glass, based in nearby Well Meadow Street, following the retirement of former owner Graham Warsop.  

Ian Hunter said: “We are delighted to be involved in Central Glass.

“We have been working with them for a number of years and feel that they produce the highest quality glass in Sheffield.
