Diamut will also be appearing at the Intermac stand with an internal Demo Area featuring products created by tools guided by the attentive eye of the machines in the Biesse Group glass division.
The innovative start design on the diamond ring is a distinctive feature of SWave, the new Diamut cup grinding wheel that goes beyond any other grinding technology on the market to date.
Based on the need for a sharper cup grinding wheel for two-sided and straight machines and the know-how of Diamut's R&D, SWave is the first grinding wheel with continuous cutting that is sinusoidal but does not pass through the diamond wheel allowing water to pass during machining.
This ensures excellent cooling, better removal, and a notable reduction in splinters. The use of a special alloy, combined with a new diamond, increases the sharpness compared with other similar tools and also increases the number of metres machined.
The resinoid grinding wheel is also new; a twin diamond grain has been used in a single wheel. In addition, grinding wheels with right and left rotation have been created, for enhanced machining efficiency.
SWave is available with a 150, 175 or 200 mm diameter for two-sided and straight machines built by any manufacturer.
Development of the High Speed range for CNC and Intermac Vertmax is also on display at Glasstec. The new DMV/504 bond is self-sharpening; the machining speed increases whereas grinding is reduced and the grinding wheel profile remains constant.
The High Speed range for CNC and Intermac Vertmax with the new DMV/504 bond can be used to machine 3 to 19 mm thick sheets of glass and is available for trapezoidal and groove profiles with 100 and 150 mm diameters.
The new range of KCX drills with stainless steel body improves sharpness and eliminates any possibility that rust will form on the tool. It provides an excellent cutting speed for vertical machines, machining centres and manual machines and is available in 4 to 60 mm diameters.
The current range of grinding wheels available for Intermac Vertmax expands with the production of a 80mm lower diameter confirming the ability of the Biesse Group companies to provide professionals in the industry with full turnkey technological solutions.
Diamut, a record first six months – In the first 6 months of 2016, satisfaction has also come from the market where Diamut has achieved 26% growth compared with the first 6 months of 2015.
The North America, South America, Australia, Russia and Northern Europe markets lead the field with growth beyond all expectations; the focus on the Italian stone market has led to the re-establishment of commercial relations with key customers whereas the new subsidiary Diamut Brazil together with the new commercial structure for the South American market is proving to be a strategic choice that has produced excellent results.
