A furnace fire at a major glass company building in Evansville had firefighters busy Friday. It happened around noon Friday at PPG Industries off Highway 41 on Inglfield Road.

Firefighters used foam to keep the blaze from spreading.



The 500,000 square foot building has over 400 employees. No one was hurt in the fire. An investigation into a cause is underway.
