Beneq and Fives Stein join forces to provide high performance glass coatings solutions Beneq Oy (FIN) and Fives Stein (FR) have entered into a partnership where Fives Stein acts as a integrator for Beneq’s nanotechnology-based glass coating technology and equipment.



The purpose of the cooperation is the application of Beneq’s proprietary nHALO® -technology, capable of depositing highly efficient functional coatings into float glass production lines and off-line coating systems. Beneq’s unique coating technology and equipment combined with Fives Stein’s extensive experience and presence in the glass industry enable the parties to expand their product offerings into new areas. As a result, flat glass producers and processors will benefit from advanced coating solutions adding value to their glass products. This partnership additionally strengthens Beneq’s market presence and position in the glass industry.

Beneq Oy, Vantaa, Finland, is a supplier of industrial equipment for global markets.

Beneq is addressing the market of industrial equipment for producing functional surfaces with the latest technology, typically utilizing nanosize materials. Main products of Beneq include equipment and technology for nHALO (Hot Aerosol Layering Operation) and ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition).

ALD technology is a thin film coating method used to produce accurate, pinhole-free and conformal thin-film coatings on various substrates.
