Glasstec 2012: Duzce Cam places order for second float line

Turkish glass processor Duzce Cam is to install a second float glass line.The company, a subsidiary of Okan Group, signed a contract with Fives Stein at the glasstec event in Dusseldorf, Germany this week.

The new float glass line has a capacity of 800 tonnes per day and will incorporate an LEM furnace, designed to meet the challenge of ever-increasing energy prices.Fives Stein was selected as the supplier of Duzce Cam’s first float line which started up in 2010 after a contract signing in 2007.That float line consisted of the glass manufacturing line, comprised of the batch plant, float furnace, tin bath and annealing lehr.Turkish glass processor Duzce Cam is to install a second float glass line.
