With an entirely new stand concept and numerous new products, Bohle AG will present itself at glasstec 2008 in Düsseldorf (hall 9, stand D48 – G68).

In clearly defined product sections visitors can zero in on specific areas of interest and at the same time gain an overall impression of the company's capabilities as partner and problem solver for the glass industry. The main message at the Bohle stand this year: With Bohle products glass professionals achieve top results in every processing step. In short: Bohle enables quality.

Walking around the 1000 m² stand, visitors can experience all product sections first hand: many exhibited machines and tools are demonstrated in action. "Special workstations provide visitors the opportunity to try out for themselves many tools and innovations of glass cutting and glass bonding, including measuring devices“, explains Dominik Hinzen, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications. "Even more than in the past, we would like to immerse our visitors into the world of Bohle – not just as a passive onlooker, but as an active user of our products and solutions", Hinzen further explains. To clearly demonstrate the capabilities of the Bohle Group, this year the worldwide partner of the glass industry will present the entire spectrum of glass processing and finishing with a totally new concept – clearly defined in five succeeding and thematically related stations:

1. Glass Cutting and Breaking

2. Glass Handling

3. Automatic Glass Processing

4. Glass Bonding and Fittings

5. Glazing (main focus: measuring devices)

Aside from the target group of glaziers and other craftsmen, Bohle also has a significant focus on companies that process glass in an industrial capacity. "With our new stand concept we have dedicated a separate area to automatic glass cutting, because with these highly developed products we address a separate, clearly defined target group", says Mr Hinzen. "This way we can reach our customers from the glass manufacturing and processing industry more directly."

This year, for the first time, the stand will have a central communication and catering zone with a large stage for demonstrations, where product highlights and other special topics will be presented at regular intervals. In this central area we will also introduce the brand new Online Shop which will provide customers detailed information, easy access and a comfortable purchasing platform.

Numerous New Products

Bohle once again proves its leadership in technology and innovation by numerous new products. An absolute innovation, the new “Cutmaster Platinum” for industrial glass processing, will also be presented by Bohle. The cutting wheel attains the highest edge quality, even without the use of cutting fluids. Thus, even very fine glass can be cut automatically with a minimum of pressure.

A new manual glass cutter has also been equipped with Cutmaster Platinum, providing the cutter with unique properties. At the Bohle stand visitors can put this new tool to the test.

TinCheck, the new tin side tester based on state-of-the-art technology, will likewise be premiered at glasstec. With this innovative device, the tin side of float glass is detected quickly and easily. Marketing Director Hinzen: "TinCheck uses electronic components of the newest generation, some of which have left the developing laboratories only a few months ago".

Bohle has made many product improvements to the pump and lever-activated suction lifters, making these products even more comfortable and efficient.

With regard to glass bonding, Bohle offers new UV adhesives and new lamps to cure adhesives for more efficiency and safety. Bonding fittings developed and manufactured by Bohle combine technical perfection with sophisticated design. Bohle also has new developments for LED technology in showcase construction. These will be presented as a look to the future.
