Austrian firm LISEC to supply machinery for ASAS unit

ASAS for Industrial Projects (ASAS)’s affiliate Zujaj yesterday signed a contract with Austria-based LISEC for the supply of main machinery for its QR43mn glass processing plant.

The production of glass is expected to start by August-end. “Recently, Zujaj had also signed a term loan with Qatar Development Bank for QR21.5mn to finance the supply and installation of machinery for the project,” the official added.

ASAS board chairman and chief executive officer Mohamed bin Saleh al-Kuwari represented Zujaj while LISEC was represented by Philip Soares at the agreement signing ceremony.
