Giesse presents an antimicrobial coating for handles that is recommended for all public buildings, the health, education and public transport sectors and other applications where hygiene requirements are a priority due to the risk of bacterial contamination from frequent and repeated hand contact.

The antibacterial coating is applicable to all Giesse powder coated products, is invisible, delivers long-lasting protection and does not require reapplication.

Antibacterial powder coatings contain additives based on silver particles that prevent the growth of bacteria on the coated surfaces.

Protection with silver ion technology in antibacterial coatings reduces bacterial growth by up to 99.99%, providing permanent protection for the entire life cycle of the coated product.

Antibacterial powder coatings used by Giesse are tested in accordance with the ISO 22196 standard.
