AFG Names New Chief Technology Officer

Brad Kitterman, president and CEO of AFG Industries announced the appointment of Tadayuki Oi to the position of VP Technical Development and Chief Technical Officer of AFG Industries.

Tadayuki is currently an Executive Officer with Asahi Glass Company and, General Manager of Japan Division, Japan/Asia, Flat Glass Company.



“In his new assignment,” Mr. Kitterman said, “Tadayuki will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic and long term goals and objectives of the Research & Development, Technical Development and Technical Services organizations for AFG Industries. He will be responsible for the management of the Petaluma, (CA) R&D facility and its research efforts, product development, coordinating with the global AGC Research and Development community and managing shared development efforts, providing technical and process support to the primary, coating and fabrication processes and providing technical support to customers and resolving product problems.”



Tadayuki will be temporarily relocating to Kingsport, Tennessee on November 19th and then transferring to Atlanta, Ga, with the relocation of the Corporate Headquarters.
